Lisburn Golf Club started off as a compact 9-hole course in the heart of the town before moving to its present site in the 1970s, where Hawtree achieved what most golfers would regard as an ideal layout with two loops of nine holes, each starting and finishing at the Clubhouse.
As players progress around the course, a variety of shots will need to be exercised to meander the way around water hazards and avenues of tree plantations.
